Album Notes

Organize your photos in albums with simple drag & drop. Use Album Notes to add paragraphs of text between the photos. This is a great way to describe a group of photos, or add flavor to the album. Adding even a little bit of text to an album makes it much more interesting to the viewer.

Shoeboxes

Each album has an attached Shoebox, where you can store photos that you don't want to show in the album. This mimics the way real-world albums are created: the best photos go into the album, and the lesser photos are stored in an envelope on the side (or, in this case, a shoebox).

Superb Backup

Centico Photo Album provides terrific backup capabilities for your photos. You only need to backup your photos once, by burning them to a CD or DVD. Thanks to Time Warp Backup, all of the editing changes you make to the photos from then on will be kept safe without having to backup again.

Image Editor

Crop images ruthlessly to suit your artistic vision, or dial up the color saturation to make the photos look more vivid. There's no need to worry: you can always change your mind later.

External Editors

If you already have a specialized photo editing program that you like to use, you can integrate it with Centico Photo Album. Select the photo you wish to edit, and launch the external editor with a single mouse click. Centico Photo Album will automatically save a copy of the image so that you can undo the changes you make in the external editor.

File Viewer

Use the built-in Files Panel to see the images on your system in their actual folders, instead of arranged into albums.

You can configure Centico Photo Album to be the default image viewer in your system: whenever you double-click an image file in Windows Explorer, Centico Photo Album will launch and display the image.

Search

Quickly find photos by searching for their description, notes, filenames, date, or tags. You can save search results as new albums with a single mouse click.

Web Albums

Convert your albums to HTML and upload them to the internet (requires a web hosting service).

Centico Photo Album has a feature especially designed for busy people: it can create Web Albums incrementally. This allows instant gratification: for example, after returning from a trip or a party you can immediately upload the first draft of the album to the website and tell your friends to view it. In the days to come, improve the album by adding descriptions and notes, and re-upload the album every night. This will be very fast because only the modifications will actually be uploaded.

Printed Albums

Print your albums in their full glory, including your descriptions and Album Notes. You can also print Contact Sheets or individual photos.
